About me

I am an Apostolic Pentecostal woman who is unashamedly joyful about serving God.  After being in the faith for 22 years,  I have a newfound desire to draw closer to Him.

This blog was born out of a desire to study the biblical model of marriage.  My husband died in 2015, and was not in the faith, so I thought I should seriously study the matter before considering remarriage.   Submission has been given a bad name by feminists; I grew up in traditional families where Dad was the boss.  It didn’t make me feel oppressed and growing up my desire was always to be a wife and homemaker.

So, I’ve been exploring this topic as well as prayerfully seeking God’s perspective.  I hope to give other women hope in their marriage while dispelling the notion that obedience to one’s husband is abnormal.
